What we do

IT maintenance and support

LinkIT’s managed IT offer brings network monitoring, device and server maintenance, VPN access, email security, file storage, backups and everyday support into an agreed plan. We begin with your existing environment and document the priorities and responsibilities.

Define the supported environment

We begin with what you run today. That includes the firewall and router, the internet connection, office and field computers, servers, VPN access, your current spam filter and the places your files are stored.

The first deliverable is a clear picture of the environment: what you have, what needs attention and who owns the next action. From there, we agree the maintenance schedule and support coverage that fit your business.

Network monitoring and connectivity

Review firewalls, routers, switches, wireless access and internet connectivity. Set up agreed monitoring and alert routing, keep configuration records and coordinate with your internet provider when an issue sits outside your network. Changes are planned around your operating hours.

Workstations and preventative maintenance

Keep office and field computers on a documented update routine. The scope can include operating-system and application patching, device health checks, storage cleanup, endpoint protection review and replacement planning. Updates follow an agreed schedule, with exceptions tracked rather than forgotten.

VPN access for field computers

Help field staff connect securely to the resources they need on your server. Review the existing VPN, user permissions and authentication; configure approved devices; troubleshoot connection issues; and remove access when someone leaves. We test the actual field-to-office workflow before calling a setup complete.

Servers and ongoing maintenance

Document the servers and the applications they support. Plan updates, maintenance windows, health checks, capacity reviews and access changes. Keep recovery dependencies visible alongside maintenance and incident procedures.

Email and network security

Review your existing advanced spam filter before recommending changes. Check mail protection settings, quarantine workflows, account access and escalation procedures alongside firewall and endpoint configurations. Additional tools and changes are agreed in advance.

Cloud storage and shared files

Map where files live, who needs access and how office and field teams share them. Organize permissions, shared folders, cloud storage and synchronization around the business workflow. Storage changes and migrations include an agreed plan for ownership, access and continuity.

Data backups and recovery

Identify critical data, backup destinations, retention and recovery priorities. Review failed-backup alerts and schedule restore tests and record whether the recovery process meets the agreed requirements. Agree recovery-time and data-loss targets during scoping; a synchronized folder alone is not a complete recovery plan.

Everyday support and new-user setup

Give staff a documented route for help with devices, accounts, software and connectivity. Set up new office and field users with the approved applications, permissions and VPN access they need. Use a corresponding offboarding checklist to remove access and return company equipment.

From environment review to ongoing support

  1. Discover. Map devices, users, sites, network equipment, servers, cloud services and current vendors.
  2. Prioritize. Separate urgent issues from routine maintenance and longer-term improvements.
  3. Agree. Set the supported systems, working hours, response targets, change windows and commercial scope.
  4. Maintain. Follow the maintenance plan, handle support requests and review changes with your team.

Hardware, software licenses, migration projects, after-hours work and on-site attendance are itemized when relevant. You can see what is included before choosing a plan.

Software expertise when the workflow needs more

When a workflow requires new software, LinkIT also builds custom software, CRM, ERP, point of sale, Web3 and growth systems.

Before we build

Good questions.
Clear answers.

A little more about the work, the scope, and what to expect.

Can you work with our existing VPN and spam filter?

Yes. We start by reviewing the tools, subscriptions and configurations you already use. We agree which systems to maintain, improve or replace before making changes.

Do you support both office and field computers?

The plan can cover both: device setup, patching, user access, VPN connectivity and troubleshooting. We document the supported devices and remote or on-site arrangements in the scope.

Is round-the-clock support included?

Support hours, escalation paths, response targets and on-site coverage are agreed in your proposal. This overview does not promise a 24/7 help desk or a fixed response SLA.

How are backups and recovery planned?

We identify the data and systems that matter, agree retention and recovery requirements, review backup alerts and schedule restore tests. Storage capacity, licensing and recovery targets are specified in the plan.

What happens first?

An environment review: users, devices, network equipment, servers, cloud accounts, VPN, email protection and backups. You receive a prioritized improvement plan and a clear support scope before ongoing work begins.
