Wholesale ordering, inventory, pricing, and customer accounts need to stay consistent across the office, warehouse, counter, and customer portal.
LinkIT builds systems that connect those records and the work performed against them.
The problem we take on
A distributor’s order passes through stock checks, picking, invoicing, and account updates. When each step uses a separate record, staff must re-enter or reconcile the transaction.
We review customer-specific pricing, partial fills, returns, and stock shared across sales channels. Those requirements determine whether to configure existing software, add an integration, or build a replacement.
What we build
The scope follows the ordering and fulfillment workflow:
- A B2B ordering portal with customer prices, order history, and reorder tools.
- Inventory that updates when work happens, not overnight, and not in a third spreadsheet.
- Accounts and pricing the office can maintain without asking an engineer to edit a row.
- Connections to the counter and the warehouse so a sale in one place is a sale everywhere.
Read the wholesale distribution case study for a platform we built that is in daily use.
Who this is for
Independent and mid-size wholesalers and distributors whose current tools do not support their ordering, fulfillment, or account workflows.
It is a poor fit if you want a configured commercial ERP with a long partner rollout, or if the only ask is a marketing site with an "order now" button.
LinkIT works from Chicago with distributors across Chicagoland and the Midwest.
How we work
We scope a first workflow, such as reordering with stock visibility or a portal using account-specific prices, and validate it against your SKUs and customer records. We review working software as it is built and agree launch criteria with the people operating it. Ongoing maintenance can be included.
