LinkIT builds ERP systems for independent wholesale distributors in Chicagoland and the Midwest. Gokul Wholesale and ANG Wholesale run inventory, orders, customer pricing and credit on systems we built.
The problem we take on
Receiving, warehouse activity, invoices, and accounting may each use different records. Re-entering the same transactions makes it harder to reconcile stock and balances.
A packaged ERP may meet those needs. Custom work is an option when the required workflows or integrations do not fit the package, or when a phased replacement suits the operation better.
What we build
The shared record behind the work:
- Inventory and locations: what you have, where it is, and what the last sale or receipt did to it.
- Orders and fulfillment: a sale is entered once, not retyped for the floor.
- Customer pricing and credit: price tiers per account, credit limits, and open balances.
- Purchasing and invoices: purchase orders in, invoices out.
- Tax tracking, including Illinois TP1 tobacco sales.
- The finance handoff: posts or exports in a format your ledger already accepts, with the posting or export method defined during scoping.
- Reports, notices and scanning: the daily views the office asks for, SMS and email notices, and handheld scanners on the floor.
Payroll, HR, and manufacturing planning are outside this service’s scope.
The ordering portal and the counter sit on top of this record. They have their own pages: wholesale distribution systems and wholesale POS.
Running in Chicagoland today
Gokul Wholesale in Itasca and ANG Wholesale both run on it. The rest of our work is on the clients page.
Who this is for
Independent and mid-size distributors using spreadsheets or systems they cannot extend, including c-store, tobacco, beverage, candy, and general merchandise businesses. We are based in Chicago and work across Chicagoland.
Not a fit: a company that has already picked a named ERP vendor and is running an RFP for an integrator.
Custom or packaged
We compare packaged and custom options against your workflow, integration needs, and total cost. An accounting package that meets your needs can remain the financial system of record.
How we work
We map how transactions enter the system and where staff re-enter or reconcile them. The rollout starts with a shared dependency, often inventory or orders, and runs alongside the existing process until the team validates it. We then move that module into use. You receive progress notes and own the code.
Cost depends on scope, so we quote after we have seen your workflows and data.
