LinkIT built wholesale POS software for Gokul Wholesale and ANG Wholesale. Counter sales share inventory and customer price tiers with online ordering.
At a wholesale counter, the buyer is usually a trade customer the office already knows. Their customer record and price tier should be available when staff look them up.
What the counter does
This is what runs at Gokul Wholesale and ANG Wholesale today:
- Barcode scanning. Staff scan the item instead of typing in a SKU.
- Receipt printing. Every sale prints a receipt and stays on the customer's record, so the office can find it later.
- Customer price tiers. Prices are set per account in the back office and apply at the counter automatically.
- Tax rules. Tax follows the rules the distributor sets. At Gokul that includes Illinois tobacco tax tracking.
- Shared order history. Counter sales and online orders land on the same customer record.
- Reporting. Counter sales show up in the same reports as the rest of the business.
Counter, portal and warehouse on one record
A walk-in buyer and a customer ordering on the portal use the same customer record and price tier. A case scanned at the window comes off the same inventory the portal sells from.
Our POS systems connect remote orders and in-person counter sales to shared inventory and customer records.
Who it is for
C-store, tobacco, beverage and general merchandise distributors with a will-call window, where buyers already have accounts and pick up in person.
If you run a café or a single retail shop, an off-the-shelf register is probably the better buy.
Our office is in Chicago, IL, and we work with distributors across Chicagoland.

How we work
You can start with the counter or with the whole loop. The whole loop, from ordering portal to warehouse, is wholesale distribution systems. If the problem is the back office record behind the sale, see ERP systems.
We review account pickups, case quantities, price tiers, and item tax with your staff. The first version uses your catalog and is checked against back-office totals. We agree the rollout and review schedule during scoping; you own the system.
